If you have ever flown with Ryanair, you will recognise the little tune that is played when your flight arrives on time. However, as the airline is currently undergoing a makeover, the next time you fly with them you won’t be hearing this tune. A Twitter poll has revealed that passengers were not so keen on the old jingle, so it will soon be replaced by a new one.

The makeover will be known as the ‘Always Getting Better’ campaign and the new tune has been released in a Youtube video, which also features footage of Ryanair’s toned down interiors within their new fleet of Boeing 737 MAX planes.

A spokesperson for the airline told the media:
“The new jingle is currently being rolled out on all Ryanair aircrafts and is part of our ongoing improvements to the inflight experience. Our customers voted to remove the original trumpet fanfare through a Twitter poll last year and this is our newest version. It’s become synonymous with the Ryanair flight experience to hear an on-time arrival jingle, after all, 90 per cent of our flights arrive on time and the new version has proven popular with our customers so far.”

The new planes will feature less of the famous Ryanair yellow interiors as well as eight new seats, and will arrive in 2019.
