Holiday provider Thomson has called on British fashion, interior and jewellery designer Jade Jagger to design a limited edition range of kaftans in celebration of the launch of the Sensatori Resort Ibiza. The special edition items will be gifted for a limited time to guests staying at the resort and for UK residents, the range will be available to purchase with all proceeds going to charity.
This will be the third time that Thomson has partnered with a British fashion designer to bring its ‘holidays designed for you’ theme to life. In 2012, milliner Philip Treacy designed the Butterfly Bar at the Sensatori Resort Turkey along with a range of women and children’s sunhats and last year, Jonathan Saunders styled the pool of the Sensatori Resort Jamaica, creating a collection of beach bags and sarongs.
Jagger said:
“Ibiza feels like my second home as I’ve spent so much time there over the last 20 years. Through my collaboration with Thomson, I wanted to bring to life what I love most about the island and use its natural beauty and vibrancy as inspiration for my kaftan designs as well as drawing from my jewellery collections.”
She has also designed a bespoke wellbeing space at the resort which opens in May of this year. Jagger said of the space:
“The luxurious Thomson Sensatori Resort Ibiza has an idyllic setting overlooking the beach, so when designing the wellbeing space I focused on using natural materials and lighting effects that capture the essence of the Ibizan landscape, to create an environment for guests to truly relax in and enjoy.”
