Qantas Baggage Allowance
Your baggage allowance depends on where you are flying to and which class you are travelling in. Economy passengers generally have an allowance of 30kg or two bags up to 23kg for USA-bound flights. Customers travelling in premium economy/first class get 40kg whereas first class passengers get 50kg.
Qantas Cash
Qantas Cash is a travel money card service for members of the Qantas frequent flyer scheme. It’s built into your frequent flyer card and earns you points on certain purchases at home or overseas. When is online check in available?

Can I change my booking?
You can change your booking by using the Manage my Booking aspect of the Qantas website. Specifically which aspects you can change depends on whether the fare rules permit your change. If you make a mistake when booking, you can often correct this up until midnight on the day of booking free of charge. Otherwise, a fee will incur.[/toggle]
Can I have a musical instrument as my hand luggage?
It depends on the instrument. For example, a small violin is likely to be permitted, whereas a large guitar will have to be placed in the hold. Instruments must be in a hard case which weighs no more than 7KG.

You can make a meal request at ‘manage your booking’. Special requests, such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and halal can be catered for providing that they are requested 24 hours before the scheduled flight. Kosher meals must be requested 36 hours before.
